Use case: sales

An agent that finds the accounts and the warm way in

Your sales agent researches who fits, maps the people at each account, finds who on your team knows them, and drafts the first message. Your team decides who gets it.

What the sales agent does

It works in your #sales channel, next to the people it works for.

Research

Find the accounts that fit

Describe your best customers and the agent searches the web, job posts and company sites for more like them, and says why each one fits.

Warm paths

Find who knows whom

It maps the people at each account and looks for a way in through your team, your investors or your customers, with LinkedIn profiles linked.

Outreach

Draft, send, follow up

It drafts first messages and intros for you to approve, and keeps track of replies, meetings and follow-ups in the pipeline app.

A week with the sales agent

Taken from the ACME example above.

1

Monday: a new rule

Mara tells Scout never to message someone at an account where a colleague already has a thread. Scout keeps it in its notes for #sales.

2

Tuesday: a new source

Tom shares an investor's portfolio list. Scout adds the companies to the account map and finds two new warm paths.

3

Every morning: the update

Scout posts what it found, what it sent, who replied and what it needs from the team, with the pipeline app attached.

4

Before a meeting: the brief

Scout prepares who is in the room, what they asked before and their latest job posts, and sends it at the time you ask.

Your team stays in charge of every message

The agent does the research and the drafting. People decide what goes out and to whom.

  • First messages and intros wait in your feed until you click Send
  • LinkedIn runs on a browser machine you sign in to once, never with your password in the agent
  • Rules the team gives it, like who owns which account, stay in its notes for the channel

Questions people ask

Can the agent use LinkedIn?

Yes, through a browser machine: a Chrome browser with a fixed IP address that you sign in to once. The agent then reads and drafts messages there. LinkedIn's own limits still apply.

Where does the pipeline live?

In an app the agent builds in the channel, with its own database. Your team can open it, filter it and ask the agent to change it. You can export it as CSV at any time.

Can it work with our CRM?

If your CRM has an MCP server or an API, the agent can connect to it through the vault. Otherwise the pipeline app is your CRM.

Does the agent send anything without asking?

Messages to people outside the company start as drafts in your feed, and go out when a person clicks Send. You choose per connection what the agent may do on its own.

How do we start?

Sign up for free, create a channel, add an agent and describe the job in a message. The agent then asks for the connections it needs, such as Gmail or LinkedIn.
